Samurai Series- Part 2

For the samurai, the sword is never unsheathed to brandish; only to cut. Therefore, much time is spent training the body and mind to discern the exact moment to unsheathe the sword. Once unsheathed, it should not return to its saya (sheath) without having tasted the enemy’s blood.
